Irish commentator - "the worst Australian side I have ever seen. Robbie Deans does not have a backup player in almost every position"

I've waddled my fat arse out for 35min run on the beach, so I've started-ish. Will see how fast it comes back and make a commitment mid August.

I did a 15km row this afternoon to remind myself how stupid accepting this challenge was
1:01:57
I was trying to keep a steady pace throughout b/c I suspect that will be the hardest thing to get right over a 3hr row. I didn't quite succeed, I accidentally went out slightly too fast in the first third and then unsurprisingly went slower in the last third
1st 5km ~20:20
2nd 5km ~20:40
3rd 5km ~21:00

Funnily enough with that row you're at the same stage as me sort of. Just over a third of the way through the marathon.
It will be no mean feat to accomplish mate
Is you fat fat brother going to do it?......................

I did a series of 40min walks in Sydney to and from the course to see what would happen to my shins. Pain in my calves and cramps in my arches, I'm a looooong way away from being able to do anything.
Going for a run today on my proper shoes and see if I still have it.
