OK, it looks like an error either with Chrome or your PC might have Malware. This what there tech heads had to say;

Quote

There are a number of causes for this problem that are external to Chromium. If you are seeing this
error you should investigate the following:

1. Do you have an Anti-Virus software package that blocks applications from reaching the network.
Vista's built in firewall and most modern firewall/virus software does this for you. Unfortunately,
many of them don't recognize Google Chrome yet so you need to manually allow the exception. Some users
have noticed that to get the proper behavior from their virus software they had to uninstall the
browser, remove the rule in the virus software, and then reinstall and allow network access the first
time they launch the browser.

2. Do you have a hardware firewall that needs to be configured? Some users have routers or proxy
servers that need to be configured to allow Chrome to access the network.

3. Is your machine infected with malware? There are some malware infestations that try to redirect
your browser to a site they control. These infestations don't recognize Chrome so they do the wrong
thing. In other words, the malware is trying to hijack Chrome but fails and the result is Chrome
thinking it can't get to the network.

This error, "Error 2 (net::ERR_FAILED): Unknown error." is reported when Chrome did everything it was
required to do to get access to the network and it failed. This is very early in the process of
talking to a web server so it probably has nothing to do with the web server.

Can you see if you are getting the error in IE (or if that is against your religion, Firefox) as well? If not, then check your firewall settings as they suggest (I'm assuming you regularly scan for nasty programs anyway....).

Oh, and you know Google are evil right? ;)

Hmm, just tried logging in as you and I'm getting it here so that rules out the network angle.

Can't find any references to this sort of error, so might have to fall back on the great DBA answer of corrupted rows. Mind if I delete your outbox?

All sorted. Deleting the rows sorted it, couldn't anything wrong with them though. In one of the browsers I tried I got a "raw" error, did some of the PMs have attachments maybe?

Have a look under your "User Control Panel", under Private Messages and Rules/Folders and Settings on the bottom left; check that "Delete Oldest Messages" is set if the folder is full.
