We're on a shared server, so unless I upgrade to a dedicated, load balanced server we are always at risk of getting these sorts of things. Could be other customers of the host running intensive SQL, it could be a bug in this forum software, or million other things sorry...

Phew, I thought this was just my problem. Always works on the refresh though, so no real worries.
