Please help. I reinstalled windows, but now can't view mp4 files. What program or extensions for WMP should I install?

Thanks

http://www.cccp-project.net/ for codecs for WMP.

Or download a standalone player like VLC from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

MPC-HC is my player of choice for windows - you can configure the scaling and processing very nicely. If supports hardware decoding of h264 video (what you normally have in mp4 containers) if you have a modern video card.
