John Mitchell Johan Ackermann and Carlos Spencer will coach the Lions in the Currie Cup.

The GLRU on Sunday announced that the New Zealander, who coached the Force in this year’s Super 14, will be assisted by Johan Ackermann (forwards) and Carlos Spencer (backs). Spencer will also play for the team at flyhalf or fullback.
Lions Super 14 coach Dick Muir, who is now back with the Boks, will work closely with Mitchell in the final four to six weeks of the Currie Cup.
Mitchell will return to Perth after the tournament in order to prepare the Force for their Super 15 campaign.
