Actually I'm enjoying the com. team tonight.
What have you got against him?

Smith for my money is there due to his ability NOTto have a brain fart.. certaininly not for his insight in to the game ....
He is just bloody annoying and not that clued up regarding rugby.... (and I acknowledge this is only my opinion) just wanted to see what others though really...
also anyone know what Drews first card was for? i haven't seen a replay yet???

I don't think we ever got a replay of Mitchell's first offence (replays are something that's been missing from tonights coverage - we seem to get a lot more when the games are in NZ).

Shoulder charge, "Same as for Black before". Don't know why they never showed a replay, could possibly be because it was late and wasn't picked up by the cameras clearly.

Yeah, what was up with the lack of replays tonight? Crap coverage by Fux Sports in that regard.
Where is Murray Meathead these days? I miss him. He was a bit average at times, but surely not bad enough to give the ass. At least he knew his rugby.

I was lucky enough to get the Aussie commentators, I'd take them any day of the week. Despite their complaining they do inject a little humor.

We are the pride of all provincial rugby teams
Pass it here, pass it there, we are going to pass it everywhere.
We are the greatest team of all
We dont hold that ball to long, we just pass it right along

Smithy's a quality broadcaster who's composed behind a mic, and makes sound judgement calls nine times out of ten.

Should've heard the radio commentary then Baron. It was so bad it was mildly funny.
Paul Martin: "And who's that come on for Luke Braid? Looks like it must be Phil Burleigh. [Long pause]. Oh, sorry, maybe it's Aidan Kuka.
Kevin Hart: "Think you'll find it's Solomon King, Paul".
Paul Martin: "And Moa's come off for the Bay... being replaced by Chad Torr......
Hart: "Too-or-oh [Tuoro]."
Paul: "Oh yeah, he had a pretty good season last year if I remember right."

Yeah, I'm glad the next world cup is being played here, we have the best match coverage by far (angles, replays etc.). A lot of the match coverage was crap in 07 (homo slowmo close up shots etc.).
Auckland the greatest rugby province on earth.

yeah sky doesnt hardly ever have the 2 different commentaries going anymore either e.g when you could switch between the oz or nz commentary team during a bled cup game, i wanted to hear what marto and kearnsy had to say during the thumping their beloved team was taking on sat nite haha

He makes the Aussie look meek and mild.
Some of his comments when SA were in NZ were downright pathetic. Why does he need to be condascending? Fuck off back to cricket.
As for Stu Wilson? What's he doing on Aus TV. Did you guys throw him out? I would.

His post victory interviews have a gloating edge to them. Often he doesn't even ask a question, he'll just make some biased statements and then shove the microphone at the player and beg for validation.
