The results from the first match were

3 points - Retallick
2 points - Latimer
1 point - Bourke.

(Also factored in votes on Twitter which is how Latimer took second place).

Well, I've got to say this is something of a surprise. At the risk of being slated, I thought our forwards played very poorly last Saturday and were outplayed by Waikato....our scrums were often back pedaling, lineouts lacked any dominance and rarely did our forwards deliver"go forward ball" . So we see three forwards taking the honours ? Having said that none of the backs had a chance to shine on attack and so maybe didn't deserve the "Man of the Match" award. It was a terrible game all around I thought .

Yeah I'm lagging a bit huh? First I have to put up a poll for both Otago and Wellington games and then I'll do some maths!

Not surprised to see Braid, Retallick and Latimer at the top by far our best performing fowards this season and good to see Andrews in the top 5 also he has been a good player for 'The Bay'

Arnold the stand out back for me so far had a stunner vs 'Hawkes' and looks safe at the back, nice to know we have moved on from Lawerence and being on the edge of the seat everytime we needed safe hands. Masaga coming along real nice and showing some good form last few weeks.

Delany looks to be a good steady influence, just needs to get back to his best and we will be on fire.

Bourke in third equal, but probably the only one with a chance of an AB's call-up.

Is he really in with a chance? Or was it just that Wynne Gray article?
