Eyre, Payne & Ranger

Eyre was superb on the back of a retreating scrum, and when he did get the ball in the final 20 really lifted and carted it over the gain line!!
Payne and Ranger....nuff said

Ditto!
I can't help myself - tried my best and it goes against everything I believe in, but I can't. After all the whining about Joel Jutge on this site from the winning fans there's nothing left for me to do but.... WALTZING MATILDA, WALTZING MATILDA...

I missed Eyre but agree with you guys. Payne / Ranger - obvious. I put Bronsan in because it thought he was holding is own and is becoming the hard man of the pack. Just need someone on the other side.

i thought caine had his best game in the cambridge blue yesterday. did a hell of alot of good work covering, cleaning up and communicating. his clearances where spot on as well.
I wanted to have a career in sports when I was young, but I had to give it up. I'm only six feet tall, so I couldn't play basketball. I'm only 190 pounds, so I couldn't play football. And I have 20-20 vision, so I couldn't be a referee. ~Jay Leno

Eyre, Caine and Ranger for me.

Caine had another stormer this week, if he maintains this form he will be a shoo in for the Blues.
Eyre was brilliant and his form has been steadily improving, the worse the scrum gets, the more prominent he seems to become.
Ranger because without him we wouldn't have scored a couple of those tries, he was a just a class or two above any Southland back could muster.

Honourable mentions...Payne, Bancroft, O'Connor and Murray
Glenn McGrath to Eddo Brandes - "Why are you so fat?"

Eddo Brandes' reply - "Because everytime I **** your wife she gives me a biscuit"

ditto, Caines like an extra loosie, massive on D and great at finding gaps.

Ranger, Payne, super stars!

Worthy mention goes to Eyre, superb at tidying the crap ball we were getting from our scrum..

Yeah Payne and Ranger hands down. Both on attack an D they were immense.
Caine was brilliant. He has a superb pass and that does wonders for our backs. And Eyre was solid in a very difficult position. But Pryor gets a vote from me. He was everywhere, on both D and attack. I thought of not voting for him because of the yellow card, but I think that was a little unlucky.
Pretty good performance all round really, except for the scrum. And Hauraki.
Ron Burgandy: "What's that?"
"You pooped in the refrigerator, and ate the whole wheel of cheese?"
"Oh, no I'm not even mad, that's amazing!"

Yeah thats the same votes that I gave.

Pryors card was more of a team yellow so I don't think it counts against him that much

they refered to him on 'Crowd goes Wild' as Perfect Hair Pryor. Has anyone mentioned that Champ, J77 and I met his parents down in Wellington?

good to hear they follow him about, Lachies parents do the same, I am pretty sure they come up for all his clubs games for MW as well!

I would hope the NRu will try to sign Pryor for the club season up here next year.
