Please nominate who you think was the happiest hooking endomorph in 2011 with your reasons.
If you disagree with a nomination then this thread is your chance to do so – you must say WHY though: furnish reasons for your disagreement! (Or run the risk of deletion!).
Debate at this stage of the process is encouraged.
Polls will be put up later listing nominations’ pros and cons.

Owen Franks
The most important player in any team is the tighthead prop. The second most important is the reserve tighthead prop.

A couple of things RB ... you haven't added any supporting reasoning ... and this is the hooker thread ...

William Servat for me, a nasty bugger around the park and the best lineout throw in the world.
But I've seen games won by teams without any hope at all!

Keven Mealamu, NZL
Source of constant nuggety "go forward" for the All Blacks. Hit lineouts consistently. Back to his burrowing, buldozing best.

All round game better than his peers - Servat, Mealamu, Bismark

Andrew Hore. Not that I feel he should win but he has been brilliant in every opportunity he has had in black this summer. If Mealamu was not blocking his path I firmly believe he would own this award, much like Bismark.
When the Nets go 0-82, it's gravy. When the Blues go 2-9, it's Lam.

Was thinking that our hookers weren't getting the love around here - in one of the other threads - the Southern Lions one.
Both Mealamu and Hore have been very good this year. Hore when he's come on - has been a rock in defense - and managed to snaffle a lot of turn over ball. He's at the top of the tree in this regard for tight forwards in my opinion.

Confused as a baby in a topless bar.

Can't abide that at all. I know you're a big fan of Aussie footy and yes he is one of the few in the Aus pack that can hold his own but hes been outplayed by Mealamu at least three times this year. And Mealamu is not even my top rated hooker! IMHO Moore's about as good as Dylan Hartley.
If homosexuals can't reproduce, how come there are so many of them?

"it is not for me a question of whether Nepia was the best fullback in history. It is a question of which of the others is fit to loose the laces of his Cotton Oxford boots."
Rennie, Joseph, Russell, Penney, Hammett. The Mickey Mouse Canes keep rolling on.
