Please nominate who you think was the most sensational second-five eighth (or inspirational inside centre - translating for anyone outside of NZ) in season ’11 with your reasons.
Similar to the separation of wingers, when I set up a "Midfield" poll a season or two ago the backs tossed their hair dryers and styling products out of their cot. Apparently there's a difference in just how the mid-field stuff things up for the forwards depending on the numbers on their back - hence a poll for 12 and 13.
If you disagree with a nomination then this thread is your chance to do so – you must say WHY though: furnish reasons for your disagreement! (Or run the risk of deletion!).
Debate at this stage of the process is encouraged.
Polls will be put up later listing nominations’ pros and cons.

I'll start 12 as well...
Ma'a Nonu, NZL
Brilliant on attack and organising the attack. Could straighten, bust and/or distribute.
Held off challenge by SBW to keep his position.
World Cup Winner.
Jamie Roberts, Wales
Hard running line straightener. Gave Wales go forward to run off. Frightening at times. Pivotal to Wales form.

Ma'a Nonu, clearly the best 12 in the world unless your name is Mark Hammett.
But I've seen games won by teams without any hope at all!

Jamie Roberts
He goes well, Wales goes well. Average without Rhys Priestland mind.
Better than the 2009 version that got voted into TSF TOTY XV

I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.
