The Nominees for the Flyest of halves who is first amoung five eighths are (in no particular order):


CARTER, Dan NZL
Pros
  • Running game was back to it's best before his groin tear
  • injury made the RWC a competition
  • no more complete player in his position
  • can kick, tackle, step, pass.

PRIESTLAND, Rhys WAL
Pros

  • Arguably 10 of the RWC
  • huge punt
  • calm temperament (for a young man)
  • great passing game which guys like Jamie Roberts really missed after his injury.
