The lions forwards failed to front up and the whole team played with a very low intensity...
the bucket heads played good rugby with plenty of passion, probably lucky not to be down to 14 men at one stage.. none the less clearly the better team on the day

My conversion away from being a wellingtons supporter continues. I feel dirty, but kind of glad that some other muggins now has to deal with the crazy wellington team.

I'm just so glad that the CM revival this year has given me a decent team to follow. Welly are my 'second team' and this year I couldn't give a rats about them, and boy am I glad. What utter crap.
When I heard the result I was mainly pissed off as it could have cost me a big multi win from the TAB. Luckily for them I had a Waikato 13+ result not come in as well or I would have been making accusations of the players being paid off by the bookies.
